By car

Cartagena is connected to the whole of Europe by motorways. Whether you come through the centre of Spain or down the Mediterranean coast, you can arrive at Cartagena without having to pass a single set of traffic lights.

By train

There are two convenient airports:

• Corvera (Murcia) Airport is only 31 km from Cartagena. There are scheduled services from Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, London, Manchester and Dublin together with numerous charter flights.
  

• El Altet (Alicante) Airport, 95 km from Cartagena, is one of Spain´s most important international airports. There are scheduled and charter flights from all the main European cities.

By train
